Crazy for Cupcakes Baking Contest

Do you make a cupcake that won’t crumble under the competition?  Test your cupcake baking skills at the Scottdale Historical Society’s “Crazy for Cupcakes” event held during Scottdale’s Picnic in the Park on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

This event is free to enter and participants are encouraged to make their best cupcakes for a chance to win a cash prize.

Deliver your cupcake creation to the Historic Loucks House from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Entries will be on display from 1-2 p.m. followed by judging from 2:30-3:30 p.m.  Winners will be announced at 4 p.m. at Picnic in the Park.

Crazy for Cupcakes Contest Details

• Entries will be judged on taste, decoration and appearance.
• Two age divisions.  Ages 8-12 and 13 and older.
• Bring your best half-dozen cupcakes on a non-returnable plate.  Cupcakes that need to be refrigerated or frozen cannot be accepted.

Cash prizes and gifts will be awarded for first ($25), second ($15) and third ($10) place in each division.
